Events in Focus Ltd website

These terms and conditions set out the rights and obligations of all users (either as individuals or as a group) and those of Events in Focus Ltd in relation to the services offered by Events in Focus Ltd by way of this website (the Website). Before you click on the 'confirm' button at the end of the booking process, please carefully read these terms and conditions. By clicking on the 'confirm' button you are consenting to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions, do not click on the 'confirm' button. These terms and conditions are made between Events in Focus Limited ('Events in Focus') and whosoever shall use the Website ('You').

Use of Site

You may only use the Website to make legitimate enquiries or bookings and hereby undertake not to make any speculative, false or fraudulent booking or any booking in anticipation of demand. You also undertake to provide correct and accurate e-mail, postal and/or other contact details to Events in Focus and acknowledge that Events in Focus may use these details to contact you in the event that this should prove necessary.

You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to make a booking using the Website in accordance to the terms and conditions, individual or on behalf of any other person/s you are representing.
The Website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by parties other than Events in Focus. Such hyperlinks are provided for your reference only. Events in Focus does not control such web sites and is not responsible for their contents or your use of them. Events in Focus inclusion of hyperlinks to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.

Without limiting the foregoing, copying or reproduction of the software contained in the Website to any other server or location for further reproduction or redistribution is expressly prohibited.

The usage of any device, routine or software which inhibits or interferes with the running of the Events in Focus website or any booking concluded upon it is prohibited. Any action which creates a load on the Events in Focus website or infrastructure which may be considered unreasonable or disproportionate is prohibited.

Events in Focus does not make any warranty that the website is free from infection by viruses or anything else that has contaminating or destructive properties.

Events in Focus does not guarantee continuous access without interruption to the Website, nor does Events in Focus guarantee secure access to its services. The performance of the Website may be interfered with by many factors outside its control.

Making a Booking

Any booking made or order placed by you shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the relevant hotel accommodation subject to these booking conditions. No contract between you and Events in Focus shall come into existence until Events in Focus (a) issues a booking reference number; (b) issues a booking acknowledgment / itinerary / tax summary invoice by email or fax; and (c) either receives payment in full; (d) or receives a valid credit card to guarantee payment directly to the hotel on departure.
Where you are pay EIF Ltd in full (non pay direct booking).
For non pay direct booking you will receive a Hotel/tax summary invoice setting out the amount due for the booked accommodation. On receipt of the amount due Events in Focus will ensure that the hotel is paid in accordance accordingly.

For Pay Direct Bookings (Online Bookings – where you pay the hotel either during the duration of your stay or on departure) Events in Focus does not accept any responsibility or liability for accommodation costs.

All incidentals are required to be settled directly with the hotel on departure. Events in Focus does not accept any responsibility or liability for these charges.

Events In Focus will endievery to procure the type of room requested (double/twin/triple/quadruple) by you at the time of reservations, but Events in Focus Ltd does not guarantee that it would be able to procure the type of accommodation requested.

Payment for reservations is due, in all cases, either before the customer travels or guaranteed by credit card which will be used to settle the account directly with the hotel during the duration of your stay or on departure. Regardless of whether booking acknowledgment / itinerary / tax summary invoice have been issued or not, Events in Focus reserves the right to cancel reservations if payment has not been received and also if payment is still outstanding for any other unrelated reservations, or if the credit card provided to guarantee your payment to the hotel is invalid.

Events in Focus reserves the right to revise all published prices at any time and for any reason, however no change in price (excluding local taxes and supplements) will be made once a booking has been confirmed. Events in Focus is not liable or responsible for tax and supplements changes imposed by the destination governing bodies.

Amendments and cancellations by you

The terms of cancellation or amendment of any booking made through the Website will be stipulate in contained in either the tax summary invoice or the Itinerary email sent to you.

If you do not arrive at the accommodation on the contracted arriving date or date on which you leave the accommodation prior to the contracted departure date, you will remain fully liable foe the full accommodation cost.

Cancellations and/or amendments of bookings will only be valid if Events in Focus are notified in writing (letter / email / fax) and reconfirmed to a customer in writing (letter / email / fax) by Events in Focus.

Amendments, cancellations and
curtailment by the hotel 

In the very unlikely event that the hotelier cannot provide the booked accommodation, you understand that the hotelier's responsibility is to find an alternative of at least a similar standard. Events in Focus takes every precaution to ensure hotels are professionally managed so that any such occurrence is extremely rare. Events in Focus shall have no liability in respect of any other costs, losses or damages existing out of or in connection with relocation of accommodation since such relocation is outside Events in Focus's control.

Accuracy of Information

Events in Focus and its suppliers have taken reasonable care to ensure that the content of the Website including all hotel information, city information and listings is accurate. The hotel information and listings are compiled from information provided by the hotels that are listed. Events in Focus publishes such information in good faith. You acknowledge and accept that Events in Focus cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in such information, nor can liability be accepted for changes to facilities which are not notified to Events in Focus by the hotel in question. You also acknowledge that while Events in Focus endeavours to keep accurate and up-to-date all information contained on the Website, Events in Focus cannot be responsible for errors, omissions or misleading information contained in the hotel listings or information.

Passports and Visas

Events in Focus cannot be held liable for any loss incurred in the event of your failure to hold the necessary passports, visas and documentation for your journey. You are advised to check with the relevant visa departments of the Countries you wish to visit.

Events in Focus urges passengers to review any travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements and advisories issued by the appropriate authorities.

By offering for sale of accommodation to particular international destinations, Events In Focus does not represent or warrant that travel to such points is advisable or without risk, and is not liable for damages or losses that may result from travel to such destinations.

Liability Disclaimer

Hotels and other suppliers providing services for Events in Focus are independent contractors and not agents or employees of Events in Focus. Events in Focus is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any such suppliers or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting therefrom. Events in Focus have no liability and will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or other causes beyond their direct control, and they have no responsibility for any additional expense, omissions, or acts of any government or authority.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Events in Focus from and against any liability, damage or loss including legal fees and expenses that Events in Focus incurs or suffers as a result of any action, inaction or omission by you.

Under no conditions and in no event shall Events in Focus or its suppliers be liable for any consequential or special damages or losses, however arising, (including, but not limited to negligence or breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise) or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or business, howsoever caused even if that loss or damage was foreseeable by, or the possibility of it was brought to the attention of Events in Focus.

Events in Focus’s liability to you and/or any third parties are in any and all circumstances limited to the amount paid by you for the booking.

Force Majeure

If as a consequence of Force Majeure, Events in Focus is obliged to curtail, alter or cancel a booking, you shall not be entitled to claim compensation for any loss arising as a consequence of the said curtailment, alteration or cancellation. The term 'Force Majeure' includes but is not limited to acts of God, natural disaster, fire and any other destruction of any accommodation booked, riots, acts of war or civil commotion, exercise of legislative, municipal, military or other authority, strikes, industrial action or any other reason beyond the control of Events in Focus.

Amendment to These Terms and Conditions

Events in Focus reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be effective 5 days after they are posted on the Website.

Entire Agreement

These terms contain the entire agreement between Events in Focus and you and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written).

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are subject to English Law and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.

Events in Focus collects Customer Information supplied by you and uses it to provide you with a dynamic, personalised and secure service. You can visit many pages on our website without the need to supply any Personal Information.

Internal administration and fraud prevention
We may also use your Customer Information for internal administration, analysis and quality assurance purposes, including fraud prevention.
